Nytae laminate flooring makes a great durable table top, underneath is lined with 3/4" pine.
The 12" overhang on one end of the bench makes a perfect spot to mount a router. I used the laminate flooring as the router plate and cut a 2" hole to accommodate the router bits. Four wood screws hold the plate securely to the table.
To the right is one of the cabinet doors made of 3/4" oak covered plywood, flush mount hinges were installed and I rounded the outside edges with a 1/4" round router bit.
